Got 'em down in time
I have other plans later today, so I had to get my word count in early. Woot, hit the 1,861 word mark a few minutes ago, and with half an hour to spare. That puts me at 28,782 words in total for the NaNo novel. The shiny counter:

Zokutou word meterZokutou word meter
28,782 / 50,000
(57.6%)

You're right on target, then! I know that if it were me, I'd be at 9500, and praying that the transportation grid goes down so that I could skip work for the next two weeks.

LOL!!

That was me earlier in the week. Two 5K+ days nearly killed me, and I refuse to let myself get that far behind again. I need to pace myself or I'm never going to make it.

And I've already picked out my "reward book" that I will buy when I hit 50,000 so I better not miss!

Oooh, what is it? I haven't decided what I'm going to do to reward myself when the term's over, and that's a week from now. Except I'm going to read all the Naomi Noviks.

It's Terry Goodkind's final Sword of Truth novel, "Confessor". I've been somewhat dissapointed with the series on the whole, but I'm curious to see how he'll end it all.

Those numbers look really good. I know you are going to celebrate when NaNoWriMo is complete and you are a winner again. Can't wait to read this when you have it ready for crits!

Thanks, T. I'm doing my best to keep moving forward.

I'll more likely get you to read the edits to book one, first!
